Shayne Ward to marry long-term girlfriend

Shayne Ward has asked his long-term girlfriend to marry him, reports say.

The X Factor winner has been dating Faye McKeever, 22, for six years.

The Sunday People reports that McKeever wrote on a social networking website: "Faye is meeting her husband to be", later adding: "Faye is so happy."

Ward, 23, spent part of his summer working on his songwriting skills at a Los Angeles writing camp.
