Cowell's £4 million dream home 'ready'

Simon Cowell's £4 million Beverly Hills mansion is finally finished.

The Daily Mail reports that the X Factor star purchased the property in 2004, then demolished most of it to make way for his dream home.

Work on the 8,000 square-feet building got underway in 2006 and now includes a gym, hi-tech media room and swimming pool.

Cowell's celebrity neighbours are said to include Madonna, Jessica Simpson, Sharon Stone and his fellow American Idol judge Paula Abdul.

The 48-year-old multi-millionaire has been living in another of his houses during the renovations.
