Mike Skinner loves Leona, 'X Factor'

Mike Skinner has heaped praise on Leona Lewis and The X Factor.

The Streets singer, who released new album Everything Is Borrowed last month, commented that the money made by the programme helps Sony fund less mainstream acts.

"I think X Factor makes good TV and it is certainly funding a lot of experimentation at Sony music group right now, so I can't knock it," he said.

"I think Leona Lewis is great. I don't know any of the other acts so I couldn't really comment but Leona's talent is obvious, really."

Earlier this year, Skinner revealed that the new Streets LP will be the last.
