Dannii Minogue dumps boyfriend

Dannii Minogue has split from boyfriend Kris Smith, reports claim.

The X Factor judge is said to have ended the four-month relationship after telling friends that she was tired of arguing with the rugby player.

"She is upset but says she has done the right thing by ending her relationship," a friend told The Mirror.

"She's [spent] a lot of time looking after her contestant Ruth Lorenzo and then trying to get on with her fellow judges. The last thing she needs is to be stressed by a relationship."

The insider claimed that Minogue is looking forward to taking a break when the current season of the talent show finishes, saying: "She hopes to have a long holiday to recharge her batteries, and she may return to Oz to spend time with her family."

Ruth Lorenzo, Minogue's last act in the Over-25s category, was eliminated from the series on Saturday.
