Burke has never found 'good enough' man

X Factor winner Alexandra Burke has claimed that she cannot find a man who is good enough for her.

The 20-year-old singer insisted that she will not find it tough to avoid romance while she concentrates on her music career this year.

"I've never found anyone good enough for me. I always get backstabbed by my exes, so now I don't want a man for as long as possible," she told Closer magazine.

"I won't be dating anyone for the next year if I can help it. It won't be difficult not having a boyfriend as relationships suck."

Asked about claims made by her former partners in the press, she added: "My exes just want to make money out of me - I don't read the stories because they will hurt me."

Burke recently branded men "a waste of space" after her mentor Cheryl Cole issued a boyfriend ban.
