Chico will arrive in the town centre at 1.30pm on Saturday for promotional duties, where he will meet fans and visit the local areas of interest.
He will provide the daytime entertainment alongside Right Said Fred at the Tamworth Castle event on August 8. JLS, Blue, Diversity and Sugababes will all perform in the evening.
Organiser Jem Sanders claimed that the festival will be a day "Tamworth will never forget".
Chico Slimani, who also appeared in ITV2 reality show CelebAir, scored a number one single in 2006 with his debut release 'It's Chico Time'. His follow-up singles 'D.I.S.C.O' and 'Curvy Cola Bottle Body Baby' failed to break the Top 20. The singer is touring Park Resorts and Butlins venues later this summer.
