Burke: 'I'm very open with Cheryl'

Alexandra Burke has claimed that she is very close to Cheryl Cole.

The singer, who Cole mentored on last year's series of The X Factor, explained that the pair talk about everything.

"I'm very open with her and she is with me," Now quotes Burke as saying. "I tell her lots of things I wouldn't even tell my sister."

Burke also praised Simon Cowell but admitted that she is still not used to talking to him.

"That man is the nicest man on earth," she said. "He rings me, and I'm like, 'You're Simon Cowell - why are you ringing my phone?"

Burke recently claimed that she gave her fans her "heart" in a Marie Claire interview.
