Grainge buys Cowell's time for £19k

An hour with Simon Cowell has reportedly sold for £19,000 at auction.

Universal boss Lucian Grainge placed the winning bid at the Krug Mind Share fundraising event, held at Christies in London this week.

Grainge will now have 60 minutes with his music business rival after Cowell agreed to give up his time for charity, reports The Mirror.

An hour with retail tycoon Sir Philip Green sold at the same event for £18,000.
