Solomon: 'There is no Murs romance'

X Factor's Stacey Solomon has confirmed that there is no romance between her and Olly Murs.

The two reality TV stars were rumoured to be dating during their time together on the ITV1 show.

Speaking on This Morning about their relationship, Solomon said: "Sorry. No I can't say it is happening. People get so upset when you say no. They say, 'Are you and Olly together' and I have to say, 'No, I'm really sorry'."

The single mum also admitted that she felt "embarrassed" when people asked her about her love life because she does not get any attention from men. "Unless this is something that I'm not noticing, I can guarantee that there is no flirting going on," she said.

"Everyone wants to find that person, so hopefully it will happen, you never know. I feel like I'm on some sort of dating show. I'm Stacey from Dagenham, I like gherkins."

Solomon added that her ideal man would be "dark and handsome", claiming that she was a fan of actor Danny Dyer. "I love him. All his films are excellent," she said. "His films remind me of real life."
