The former X Factor winner cracked jokes on Twitter about the young singer's accident, claiming that it was "great publicity" for the Irish twins' upcoming debut album.
"Jedward: Can't sing, can't dance, can't even jump around on a stage without falling off. Doh!" he wrote yesterday.
Despite being inundated with criticism from upset Jedward fans, Brookstein continued: "Bad s**t happens. Of course I'm not happy he hurt himself but tell me you don't laugh at You've Been Framed."
He continued: "Watching it again I think it's a [Simon] Cowell conspiracy. Someone placed nano-thermite in Edward's shoe. He fell like World Trade Centre 1.... Wow over 300 complaining midgets. You'd think I taught him those dangerous dance moves that cause his ill-fated tumble.
"[Edward] will be fine. All it means is Edward won't be doing the funky chicken for a few weeks... Louis Walsh must be rubbing his greedy little claws together. The media exposure is priceless."
Brookstein softened his stance later in the evening, commenting: "Don't take it so seriously. I think everyone talking about Jedward weeks before the album comes out is fantastic for them.
"I'm being serious. I may not like their music and joke about them but I would never want them to be hurt, upset or fail."
