'X Factor' Frankie Cocozza: 'I don't want a girlfriend'

X Factor hopeful Frankie Cocozza has said that he is not looking to find a girlfriend.

The 18-year-old hit the headlines last week when he had a one-night stand with Geordie Shore's Holly Hagan. Speaking to New magazine, Cocozza said that the reality TV star was his 69th conquest.



"Well, everyone was saying on Twitter that I should follow her, and then so many people said it that I looked at her profile and she had about 70,000 followers," he recalled. "I was like, 'S**t, that's a lot!' I was excited that she wanted to get in touch with me because she's on the telly."

Cocozza said that he does not "have a type", and when asked if "anyone with a pulse" would do, he replied: "Yeah, why not?!"

However, he insisted that he does not want a relationship with Hagan: "Nah, I don't want a girlfriend. I just want to be single. It was a one-night thing."



Admitting that it had been "f**king painful" to have his heart broken once, Cocozza said that he did not regret saying that he had entered the competition to 'pull women'.

"No, not at all. I love the way it's gone for me and don't think I'd be here now if I hadn't said things like that," he said, adding that he had found it "quite funny" to be pictured on the front page of a national newspaper after a night out.
