Tulisa Contostavlos and her X Factor finalists from the Girls category were busy being interviewed on TV and radio today.

The 24-year-old singer and show judge, who recently returned from her short break in Ibiza, appeared on Daybreak with her acts Jade Ellis, Ella Henderson and Lucy Spraggan.

Speaking about the trio during the interview, Tulisa said: "I'm always saying to them to be themselves. One thing that I find as well as the most important point as a mentor is to make sure they are 100 per cent comfortable when they're on stage.

"So I think the biggest input that I have as a judge, my tactics are always to say, 'Are you comfortable?' From whether it's their song choice to the make-up they have on to what they're wearing - if they're not happy, they're not going to look happy and the audience are going to know that."

Tulisa and the finalists then shared a slot on This Morning before heading to the BBC Radio 1 studios along with Nicole Scherzinger's boys Rylan Clark, James Arthur, who recently aired his opinionated comments about the DS forums, and Jahmene Douglas.

Meanwhile, Tulisa's wildcard Amy Mottram returned back to her school Bower Park in Romford to generate support ahead of the live performances on Saturday.
