He said: "My dream job would be presenting on The Xtra Factor - and I know my name has been banded about, but it's an honour that I've even been mentioned."

It's thought the reality star could be returning as Caroline Flack's new co-host on the ITV2 show after Olly Murs is potentially leaving after two years due to music commitments.

An X Factor spokesperson told Digital Spy: "We'd love Olly to come back for this year's Xtra Factor and we hope we can make it work with his busy schedule."

Clark, 24, has already appeared on ITV's Daybreak in December as a guest entertainment presenter.

Murs told Heat magazine: "To be honest, the way my career is going in terms of music and internationally it looks unlikely that I'll be able to do it.

"It's an amazing part of my career and working with Caroline has been great."

Rylan's team did not want to comment on his potential career move.
