Charlotte Church slams 'The X Factor'

The 'Crazy Chick' singer insisted that the TV singing contest's judges lack the in-depth musical knowledge to make decisions about the future careers of singing hopefuls.
She told Closer: “I’ve got enormous respect for Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh, but they just don’t know the ins and outs of a voice or music.
“When I’m watching the show I think, ‘You haven’t got a clue what you’re on about – I should be on there'. On the last series, Sharon said about The Unconventionals: ‘That was so messy, you were all singing in different keys.’ Er, yes, they’re called harmonies.”
