Dixon wants American boyfriend

Alesha Dixon would like to move to the US and find herself an American boyfriend, the star has claimed.

The Strictly Come Dancing champion has been single for close to two years since her split from husband MC Harvey, and is considering "doing an Estelle" and heading across the pond to find love.

She commented that she has moved on from her marriage woes, and even turned down the advances of Dizzee Rascal.

"I found out through friends that Dizzee liked me," she told The Mirror. "It's sweet and I feel bad for saying it but he's not my type."
