Healey: 'I lost £15k playing online poker'

Strictly Come Dancing contestant Austin Healey has revealed that he lost £15,000 playing online poker.

The former England rugby player told the Daily Mail that his gambling addiction also cost him time with his family.

He said: "I have an addictive nature and I got hooked on winning. Since giving up rugby, I've been addicted to online poker where I'd sacrifice time with the kids to beat this guy at a poker table.

"When eventually I closed all my sites down, I was down about £15,000."

Healey confessed that he has given up poker and now takes part in high-risk spread betting with business experts.
