Snowdon: 'I'm single by choice'

Lisa Snowdon has claimed that she is happy being single.

The 37-year-old, who co-presents Capital Radio's breakfast show with Johnny Vaughan, said that she is putting her career before her love life.

"It's really weird because everybody seems to think 'oh poor Lisa, you're single' but it's actually through choice because I'm having so much fun and getting up and doing my radio show, and that takes up all my energy," she said.

"People find it hard to believe but I think it's because I'm 37 people are like 'ooh, time's running out' but I'm like, 'hang on a minute, I can be single and actually enjoy being single, you know?'"

Snowdon also denied that she and Strictly Come Dancing's Brian Fortuna had been romantically involved.

"One particular night somebody said Brian and I had been dancing and snogging in a club - that certainly wasn't the truth," she said. "We definitely danced... But nothing romantic ever happened."
