Ex-'Oaks star to wed 'Strictly' Camilla

Ex-Hollyoaks actor Kevin Sacre is engaged to Strictly Come Dancing's Camilla Dallerup.

Sacre, who played Jake Dean in the Channel 4 soap, proposed while on holiday in Capri, Italy at the weekend.

"I fumbled around for the ring," the soap star told Hello!. "I tried to say something profound about there being beautiful rocks and here's another - luckily she didn't hear that."

Dallerup, 35, joked: "It was quite possibly one of the worst proposals - but for us it was perfect."

The pair will tie the knot next July and are considering a beach wedding.

Dallerup split from fellow Strictly star Brendan Cole in 2004 following reports that he had fallen for his celebrity partner on the show, newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky.
