The Strictly Come Dancing performer tied the knot in a ceremony at Nether Winchendon House in Buckinghamshire.
The wedding was attended by several Strictly regulars, including fellow dancer Anton Du Beke, judge Craig Revel Horwood and host Bruce Forsyth.
The New Zealand-born dancer met Hobbs at a birthday party for mutual friend Rick Parfitt Jnr around two years ago.
Cole told Hello magazine: "She walked across, said hello and I nearly fell over. I literally stopped in my tracks. From that day on, I thought about nothing else.
"She takes my breath away."
Former model Jo Wood, who partnered Cole in the 2009 series of Strictly, also attended the wedding.
She said: "I've never seen Brendan as a bad boy. I've just seen him as lovely Brendan. We've become really good friends."
