According to previous reports, the former EastEnders actress has been jealous of the pair's chemistry in this year's series of the ballroom reality show.
Tointon started dating the Russian professional dancer following the pair's victory in Strictly 2010.

"Unquestionably Kara and Artem have had problems of late. By arranging to meet Holly, Kara was determined to prove she is no bunny boiler," a source told The Mirror.
"She was on a real charm offensive. She said she wanted to bury the hatchet and start again but did admit to finding it hard to watch their provocative dancing."
The insider continued: "In turn, Holly reassured her she was only interested in one man - her tycoon boyfriend Nick Candy.
"Kara came up with a few ground rules. She asked Holly not to text or call Artem late at night and said she wanted to meet Nick for herself.
"It was all a bit forced really but Holly politely went along with it, only looking a bit bemused when Kara asked where her mascara was from.
"Holly said the BBC make-up department, which was a bit of a conversation killer. But the two girls are now pals."
