Smith left the Mayfair club in London in the early hours of Sunday morning, clutching his Glitterball Trophy.
The Olympic gymnast beat Kimberley Walsh, Denise Van Outen and Dani Harmer to be crowned the Strictly winner of 2012.
His final performance involved him dancing topless and balancing on top of a globe.
Judge Darcey Bussell commented: "You blew me away. That had grace, it had fluidity. It was sensual as well."
Smith received four tens from the judging panel, but won the competition solely on public votes.
When the Olympic silver medalist was asked whether he preferred his Olympic or his Strictly achievements, he replied: "They are both very different, but I can finally say I've won something in the year 2012."
