Brook blames lifestyle for Statham split

Kelly Brook has blamed her break-up with ex-boyfriend Jason Statham on their hectic Hollywood lifestyles and their focus on their own careers.

The Strictly Come Dancing star was in a relationship with the Snatch actor for seven years, but they split up in 2004 after moving to Los Angeles together.

Brook is now engaged to Titanic actor Billy Zane, but she has admitted that she might not have split with Statham had they not been so involved in the celebrity scene.

She said: "Jason's career was also blossoming and it was difficult for us to see as much of each other as we would have liked.

"Like so many other couples it soon became clear that our relationship was faltering at the hands of the Hollywood lifestyle... So after seven years together we decided to call it a day."
