Ramprakash splits with wife of 14 years

Strictly Come Dancing star Mark Ramprakash has split up with his wife of 14 years Vanda after failing to save their marriage.

The cricketer, who won the BBC1 dance contest last year with dance partner Karen Hardy, had an affair with single mother Sadia Saleem, it was revealed last year.

Ramprakash and Vanda attempted to get over their problems but the batsman has now moved out of their marital home in North-West London.

A source said: "It is very sad. They have been trying to work things out, but have failed to do so. There is no third party involved."

Saleem claimed that the affair had gone on for years and that Ramprakash, who has two children with Vanda, had kept his marriage a secret.

The insider added: "Mark was desperate to make the marriage work and deeply sorry. They got back together, but his affair was made so public it was difficult."
