The pair discussed the BBC show when they met at Highgrove to talk about charity work, with the Royal even giving the TV presenter a demonstration.
"A few people have told me they would be interested in being on Strictly. I think the most interesting person was Prince Charles," said Daly. "He said he wanted to tango. When he demonstrated, he raised one leg and he had rather good form. He would be a good ballroom dancer."
The 36-year-old also admitted she would love to bring the Prince onto the show and partner him up with Camilla Dallerup.
"We had a little talk about dancing and I think he is a fan of the show.
"I thought, 'Just say the word and series six, you're in'. Wouldn't that be wonderful? We even have our own Camilla (Dallerup) on the show whom he could partner."
