The actress admitted that she is envious of her fellow panel member Piers Morgan, who was recruited for America's Got Talent in 2006 following talks with Simon Cowell.
"He's got money, fantastic cars, a beautiful girlfriend - and I can't believe he's made it in the US," Holden told the Daily Mail.
"I want that for myself. I do hate his jamminess - and yes, I bloody well would like to go over there! I've dropped loads of hints to Simon.
"Piers has the best of both worlds - going off for a few weeks to the US, then flying back to London. I could do that."
The star recently claimed that she would be willing to appear on Britain's Got Talent for free.
The ITV1 competition returns to screens on April 11.
