The 12-year-old Britain's Got Talent star has flown to the US with his mother to perform at the ceremony in Los Angeles, The Sun reports.
Jafargholi said: "Michael was a huge inspiration to me. I'm nervous, but I'm honoured and privileged to have been invited to perform here."
A source said: "Michael saw a clip from Britain's Got Talent on YouTube. He thought it was fantastic and was even considering getting him on stage to perform with him at some of his O2 shows later this year."
Simon Cowell said: "It's an incredible honour for Shaheen. Michael was his idol. We're so proud of him."
Amanda Holden added: "Shaheen has a truly remarkable voice. I have no doubt Michael Jackson would have loved that he's there."
Jafargholi performed in the West End Thriller stage show before reaching the final of this year's Britain's Got Talent.
