The 35-year-old comedian, who twice broke the record for the fastest-selling stand-up DVD with his last two tours, will kick off a 58-date show in Cardiff on August 22, 2012.
The Guardian reports that the Comedy Roadshow host's latest tour could become the UK's biggest ever if more dates are added, as is expected.
Although McIntyre's count falls behind Peter Kay's current two-year tour and Lee Evans's upcoming 66-date jaunt, the Britain's Got Talent judge can still expect to appear in front of over 600,000 people in one of the most lucrative shows ever.
A spokesperson for McIntyre commented: "It's certainly one of the biggest UK comedy tours ever announced, and probably the biggest tour announced in one go. It is likely there will be a number of extra shows as we go on."
McIntyre's as-yet untitled tour will come to an end at Wembley Arena on December 3, 2012.
The funnyman will make his Britain's Got Talent TV debut, alongside fellow newcomer David Hasselhoff and show veteran Amanda Holden, on April 16.
