Shannen Doherty denies drink problem

Shannen Doherty has insisted that she has never had a problem with alcohol.

The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star denied speculation that she attended an Alcoholics Anonymous course in 2000 after being caught inebriated behind the wheel.

She told Us magazine that the clams were totally untrue, although she did once attend with her partner.

"Now I've never been in AA. I accompanied my husband to AA meetings - actually, I forced him to go to one - but I've never actually gone for myself," she said.

"Sometimes you can find some truth, a little nugget somewhere, but not one thing about this was true."
