Sutton receives 'freaky fan mail'

Emmerdale’s James Sutton has revealed some of the memorable fan mail he has received.

The actor, who is Ryan Lamb in the Yorkshire soap, used to play John Paul McQueen on Hollyoaks.

He told the Sunday Mirror: "On Hollyoaks I used to get a lot of letters with people saying, 'Sorry I’m writing in crayon. They won’t let me have any sharp objects’.

"The dirtiest one was this beautiful handwritten letter from a guy saying he loved my work and loved my character - it was very eloquently written. Then I got to the end and it said, 'PS, I’ve been masturbating the whole time I’ve been writing this'."

Sutton also gave his looks a 5 out of 10.

He said: "I’m kind of like Marmite. I attract young girls and old men - I’ve cornered the extreme ends of the market."

Meanwhile, his pin-up girl of choice is Megan Fox: "She looks like… utter filth. A bit of a wrong-un, with all those tattoos. Like she’d be a bit wild. I kind of like that!"
