'Emmerdale' stars expecting a baby

Emmerdale stars Charley Webb and Matthew Wolfenden are expecting a baby together, it has been announced.

Webb, who plays Debbie Dingle on the ITV1 show, is expected to give birth to her first child in the spring.

The 21-year-old actress and her partner Wolfenden, better known as David Metcalfe on the programme, are said to be "delighted" by their happy news.

According to PA, no decision has been made over whether the star's pregnancy will be written into her soap storylines.

Webb and Wolfenden were first linked in the media last year. They are believed to have met on the set of Emmerdale after Wolfenden joined the drama in 2006.
