Terri Dwyer gives birth to second child

Former Hollyoaks star Terri Dwyer has welcomed the arrival of her second child.

The actress, who is best known for playing Ruth Osborne on the teen soap, delivered a healthy baby boy at a Merseyside hospital, Click Liverpool reports.

Dwyer and her husband Sean Marley have reportedly decided to name the 8lbs 4oz new arrival Kylan Jones. They already have a 3-year-old son named Caiden Ajay together.

A source said: "Terri and Sean are delighted. They've always wanted a big family and they couldn't be happier with the new arrival. Sean held her hand throughout the delivery and mum and baby are doing well."

Dwyer played Hollyoaks' Ruth on a permanent basis from 1995 to 2001. She has since returned to the Chester-based soap for a number of guest appearances and has also presented TV shows Loose Women and 60 Minute Makeover.
