Ricky Whittle: 'My reputation is tarnished'

Ricky Whittle has claimed that his reputation has been tarnished after facing charges of dangerous driving.

The former Hollyoaks star was cleared of the charges earlier this month. However, he told New that the case had lost him work.

"I had a couple of huge modelling campaigns in the pipeline but they wanted to find out the outcome of the court case," he told the magazine. "I've probably missed the boat with that now."

The actor added: "I shouldn't have spent a night in a cell, that's hugely embarrassing. I've had my reputation tarnished. I'm distraught."
