The 40-year-old cook, who won last year's culinary reality show MasterChef Australia, said that she will be naming the Central Coast "casual" eaterie Pianola in tribute to her mother and grandmother.
Goodwin told The Daily Telegraph: "I have an enduring memory of going to my nan's place for dinner and walking in and smelling cheese and a roast cooking.
"After dinner we would all sit around her pianola and sing. Eventually the pianola was at my mother's house and when I open my restaurant, it will be there."
