The former Spice Girl performed 'Who Do You Think You Are' alongside fellow judges Ronan Keating, Natalie Bassingthwaighte and Guy Sebastian on Monday night's episode, but Luke O'Dell has now criticised Mel B's singing abilities.
The 18-year-old told 92.9FM's breakfast show: "She judged me and she judged a lot of people and told them they were terrible and made people cry. I just think that if she can do that and [then] she performs on The X Factor and doesn't do much better, I don't understand.
"It might have been a bad performance from her, I admit that. But I also did a bad performance. If people are going to judge me on one performance, we should judge her on hers. There [are] no words to describe [her performance]... [She] was just talking [not singing]."

Footage of O'Dell performing his own song 'Introvert, Extrovert' on The X Factor three weeks ago went viral on the internet despite all judges refusing to put him through to the next round.
The reality TV show is now down to eleven contestants after Cleo Howman was eliminated earlier this week. She has since described her performance as a "nightmare".
