The former Spice Girl, who temporarily relocated to Sydney when she was a judge on The X Factor last year with husband Stephen Belafonte and her three daughter, has allegedly put her Los Angeles home up for sale and is "considering" living in Australia.
Mel B's manager told The Daily Telegraph: "Yes, they have their LA property on the market. They are looking at houses in Los Angeles, but are also considering Australia. Mel and her family all fell in love with Australia and the Aussie way of life."
The singer and reality TV star is believed to be selling her San Fernando property for $3.45 million (£2.3 million), two years after paying $3.2 million (£2.2 million) for it. The French-style chateau sits on a 2,000 square metre plot and features five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a cinema, pool, recording studio and gym.
During her stint in Sydney last year, Mel B and her family rented a penthouse apartment in Rose Bay.
Mel B has been linked to this year's Australian series of celebrity TV competition Dancing with the Stars. She took part in the US version of the show in 2007, finishing in second place.
