Andre: 'I'm too old for Amy Childs'

Peter Andre has admitted that he is "flattered" after The Only Way Is Essex star Amy Childs said that she would date him.

Childs told New magazine that she thought Andre is "gorgeous" and that she would not mind dating somewhere who is older than her.

However, in his column in the magazine, Andre said that he was definitely too old for the 20-year-old.

"To be honest, I haven’t even seen the show yet, but I do know that Amy is only 20 years old and therefore a little bit young for me!" he said. "I'm very flattered but I think dating someone 17 years younger than me might be a bit weird."

He added: "I'm sure she has an army of men queuing up to meet her though, so she won’t be single for long."
