The 23-year-old told new! magazine that he still occasionally struggles following Goody's death in 2009 from cervical cancer.
"I'm okay some weeks, but I do have bad weeks," he admitted. "It's still hard."
When asked if he is any closer to a relationship with Goody's sons Bobby and Freddy, Tweed replied: "One of Jade's mates keeps me updated with what's going on in their lives. The other day I was told Freddy said, 'I want to see Jack. He is my stepdad.' I'm glad they haven't forgotten me."
Elsewhere, the Big Brother star went on to explain that his friend James Argent's ego has got bigger since starring in the reality TV show The Only Way Is Essex.
Asked whether fame has gone to his friend Mark Wright's head since appearing in The Only Way Is Essex, Tweed replied: "No, although I thought it would. It's gone to Arg's head, though!
"He was always quite confident, but now he's a bit over-confident. He's
still a lovely boy, though.
"I'm happy for them. When Arg and I used to go out, I'd always be the one paying for the meals, so now he can treat me."
