Amy Childs: 'Psychic friend predicted fame'

Amy Childs has claimed that a psychic predicted that she would be famous.

Speaking to FHM, the Only Way Is Essex star revealed that her friend had made the prediction two years ago while they were on holiday.

She said: "I was in Ibiza two years ago with my really good friend, who's a psychic, and she said that in two years' time I'd be known, and that time is now. She was good!"

Posing in her underwear, the 20-year-old admitted that she had fulfilled one of her ambitions, saying: "I've always wanted to model and I've always wanted to do FHM. Abbey Clancy's done it, Cheryl Cole's done it, and this underwear is all lovely: rich and elegant and sophisticated."

On being part of the ITV2 show, Childs added: "It's a tongue-in-cheek, fun programme... if you don't like it, don't watch it!

"Just because we're like that doesn't mean everyone in Essex is. People are fascinated by us because we're different."

It was recently claimed that Childs will quit the programme in order to star in her own fly-on-the-wall series.
