Amy Childs: 'I want to date someone really normal'

Amy Childs has said that she wants a "normal" boyfriend who is not in the public eye.

Childs previously dated former Only Way Is Essex co-star Kirk Norcross, and split from latest love Joe Hurlock earlier in the summer.



The 21-year-old beautician wrote in her latest New magazine column: "It was interesting to see Kirk well up over Lauren [Pope] in the first The Only Way Is Essex episode. He wasn't very nice about her when they split up and now he's crying!

"Some of the cast said he wants to 'jump on my fame', and I hope that isn't true. But I don't want to date anyone in the public eye anyway - I want someone really normal."

Childs previously admitted that she misses having a boyfriend and said that she wants to find someone "good-looking" who "can make me laugh".

It was announced today that Childs has landed her own Channel 5 reality series It's All About Amy.



Writing about her new project, she said: "After three weeks in the Celebrity Big Brother house and
filming for TOWIE, I'm starting to get used to the cameras being around.

"I did some filming in Dubai last week, which was so much fun. I'll also be taking the cameras with me on photoshoots and, of course, around Essex! I hope you will all watch it!"
