Sam Faiers was treated in hospital following an attack by a gang of girls over the weekend.
The Only Way Is Essex cast member was out at London nightclub Jet Black on Sunday morning when the group allegedly stole her sister Billie's handbag, The Mirror reports.
A source told the paper: "The sisters were first targeted inside the club when the girls made off with Billie's handbag... When they left, the gang followed them back to Essex."
It is claimed that Sam was knocked to the ground when she went to confront the gang, leaving her with injuries to her face.
Billie, who joined The Only Way Is Essex in its second series, was also thought to have been injured in the incident.
A passer-by has uploaded a video of the incident to YouTube (Warning: contains violence and strong language):
The insider continued: "Both Sam and Billie later went to A&E to get checked out. They are fine now, just a bit shocked, although Sam has been left with two black eyes."
Police are due to interview the Faiers siblings about both incidents and Sam's manager Adam Muddle told the Daily Star that Sam and Billie are resting at home.
