The Only Way Is Essex star Mark Wright has apparently planned to ditch his accent in a bid to crack America.
The I'm a Celebrity runner-up has long desired to launch an acting career in Hollywood and is now hoping to acquire the "soft, plummy" tones of Hugh Grant, according to the Daily Star.

"Mark really wants to ditch his Essex twang," an insider said. "He thinks it would help him continue to expand his TV and acting career. Eventually he plans to go to America to try out for film roles equipped with a soft, plummy English accent.
"He fancies himself as a younger, more attractive version of Hugh Grant. He's definitely got the charm and a penchant for the ladies."
However, friends of Wright are apparently unimpressed with his attempts so far to master foreign dialects.
"Mark was trying out his fake American accent during a night out, much to everyone's amusement," he said. "They were all taking the mick but he didn't care. Mark's determined to crack America and star on a TV show or film over there."
Wright previously admitted that he would love to play the next James Bond.
