Pearce, who has been dating his co-star on the ITV2 series, admitted that he won't let her ex-boyfriend Mark Wright come between the new couple.
Asked if Goodger could be "The One", he told New: "If things keep going as well as they have, then she could well be. Obviously, it's very early days, but you can't go into a relationship with doubts.
"I hope it becomes more serious. I think she is really ready to move on but she was with [Mark] for such a long time and they were engaged, so she will always have feelings for him. I'm not concerned.
"If she was texting him still, I wouldn't be happy but she tells me she doesn't and I trust her completely. I have asked her if Mark has been in contact with her since we've been out and she said he hasn't.
"I think she's funny, very business-minded, and obviously I think she's pretty. I think she's one of the most naturally pretty girls on TOWIE."
Goodger, who is tipped to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house tonight, recently admitted that she will always love Wright.
