The reality TV couple celebrated the arrival of free Cloud WiFi at the theme park yesterday (September 10) by completing a series of dares sent in on the social networking site.
"Sam and I love a good challenge, but the swimming with sharks really threw us!" Essex said. "I'm a big theme park geek, so today [has been] amazing."
After taking a dive with the inhabitants of the park's Sharkbait Reef Aquarium, he tweeted: "Just got out of a naughty fish tank at @AltonTowers ! Stink like fish!
"An @SamanthaFaiers won't kiss me till I shower myself! #fishymondays."
Other challenges for the pair included riding the park's 'flying roller coaster' Air dressed as Superman and Supergirl, serving ice creams to guests and dressing up like pirates.
