The model and reality TV personality made the comment after receiving abuse online for asking people to donate money to the Teenage Cancer Trust and When You Wish Upon A Star charities via her JustGiving page.

After being described as "honourable" by a Twitter user who urged her to "ignore the idiots", Fowler replied: "Don't worry people. I could find the cure for cancer and people would still have a go lol."
Fowler's remark only attracted more criticism though, as one follower argued: "It's good that your fundraising but what you just said was that suppost to be a joke? Because cancer is nothing to joke about."
Another asked the TOWIE cast member why she "expect[s] people to give you [money] when they could give direct to the charity".
Fowler is also hosting a charity event with an auction and raffle on November 23.
