The reality TV couple were returning from dinner in London last night (January 29) when the taxi they were travelling in was hit by another vehicle and spun into a set of railings.
They were taken to hospital in an ambulance, along with the taxi's driver, where Rayment was found to have broken his finger and Wright was treated for back injuries. All three have since been discharged.
Rayment informed fans of the incident on Twitter, writing: "Just got home from A & E with @MissJessWright_ - our cab had a car crash but we are okay nothing major just cuts bruises & a broken finger!"
He later posted a photo of himself with a bloodied face and a fat lip after asking followers: "Who wants to see me looking possessed on nitrous oxide in the ambulance?"
Wright, meanwhile, wrote on her own profile that they were "home now safe & sound" and urged followers to always wear a seatbelt.
A representative for Wright confirmed to Digital Spy: "Jess and Ricky were travelling home from dinner last night in a taxi which was hit by another car.
"The two of them and their taxi driver were taken by ambulance to hospital and all treated for minor injuries, then discharged. They are all well, just a little shaken."
It was confirmed today (January 30) that The Only Way Is Essex will be back for three more series on ITV2 this year.
