The Voice coach told reporters at the TCA press tour over the weekend that she is "very confident" in her body.
"I think my video works over the years have spoken to [my confidence]," Aguilera quipped. "As you know, 'Dirrty' and so on, and 'Lady Marmalade'. I've been no stranger to being very comfortable in my own skin to take those risks, to take those chances."
Aguilera went on to suggest that it's unfair for women to be constantly "under a microscope and under massive scrutiny".
"I've been on all spectrums," she added. "I've been in this [industry] for a long time. I came out on the scene when I was 17 years old. You can never be too much of anything.
"You can never be too perfect, too thin, too curvy, voluptuous, this, that. I've been on all sides of the spectrum as far as any female in this business."
The 'Beautiful' singer also revealed during the TCA press tour that she's had to develop a thick skin over her career and now considers herself to be a "strong, powerful woman".
Aguilera and Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton are to return for the new season of The Voice, which premieres after the Super Bowl in February on NBC.
NBC announced last week that Kelly Clarkson and Lionel Richie will be guest mentors on The Voice's second season.
