Chanelle Hayes in reported overdose

Chanelle Hayes was reportedly rushed to hospital last night after taking an overdose of paracetamol and red wine.

According to The Sun, the former Big Brother star was taken to Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield, West Yorkshire after the incident which followed an argument with her boyfriend, Middlesbrough footballer Matt Bates.

A source said: "Chanelle had been having boyfriend troubles with Matt. They had been arguing a lot.

"She took the paracetamol and red wine out of frustration at how badly things were going. She was in a terrible way."

Her agent Dave Read told the newspaper: "I am looking in to this matter. I am unable to comment further at this stage."

Hayes recently revealed that she was the victim of an attack at a cashpoint near her Wakefield home.
