Chanelle Hayes leaves hospital

Chanelle Hayes has returned home from hospital, where she was being treated for an overdose of wine and pills.

A friend of the Big Brother 8 star had called an ambulance after Hayes reportedly consumed four bottles of wine and a large volume of paracetamol tablets following an argument with boyfriend Matt Bates.

Hayes's agent Dave Read said: "Chanelle is a very sensitive girl who wears her heart on her sleeve, she has been experiencing some personal problems with a relationship and obviously struggled to cope.

"Unfortunately, it resulted in her being admitted to hospital.

"Our priority now is to find Chanelle some professional help. Chanelle would like to thank the hundreds of people for their messages of support she has received this morning ".

Hayes, who was treated at Pinderfields Hospital in Yorkshire, was allegedly not breathing when paramedics arrived.
