Big Brother's Josie Gibson: 'I never wanted fame'

Big Brother winner Josie Gibson has claimed that she never wanted to be famous.
The 26-year-old Bristolian said that she only entered the reality show in 2010 for the experience and found the attention she received after her victory "terrifying".
"Winning Big Brother was like being thrown in a shark tank," she told the Daily Star. "Suddenly everyone wanted a piece of me. I was so out of my comfort zone and I've had to learn who to trust.
"Only now are my feet finally touching the ground. Some people really, really want to be famous but I never did. I just wanted to have fun really."
She added: "I felt like I was living the dream. But it was terrifying. People wanted to be my friend, they set me up and sold stories on me. Some people told me I'd changed, when I hadn't."
Gibson also advised this year's winner Aaron Allard-Morgan to be "careful" in the real world and not let fame get the better of him.
"Do not take any of it for granted. Oh, and for God's sake, don't let any of it go to your head," she said. "You've won Big Brother, not become Michael Jackson. It's pathetic when reality stars think they are A-listers."
Gibson split with her boyfriend and Big Brother co-star John James Parton in March and later accused the Australian of using "mind games" on her.
