Aisleyne confirms Winehouse friendship

Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace has confirmed that she is now close friends with Amy Winehouse.

The Big Brother 7 star was a surprise visitor to Winehouse's North London flat at the beginning of the month.

"I met Amy through mutual friends. We both hang around Camden and call ourselves Camdenites," Aisleyne told the Daily Star Sunday. "She's a really cool girl and I love her. We're close.

"She's been through a lot but that's all I'm prepared to say about her. Amy's business is her business. We get on well. We're from the same part of North London so are on a similar wavelength."

Aisleyne also denied claims that she is involved in a relationship with footballer Jermain Defoe, who has previously dated Charlotte Mears and Danielle Lloyd.

"I went out with Jermain for dinner but that's all it was," she explained. "I'd never be another notch on his bedpost. There is just no way it would ever happen. He's a nice guy and all that, but no, he's definitely not one for me."
